Shiny Rock Polished offers a user-friendly and streamlined online service. We do not operate out of a brick and mortar store. Our remote designing abilities allow us to provide a bespoke service from wherever you are in the world.
Do you only create custom, bespoke jewelry?
Aside from the unique Shiny Rock Polished bespoke service, we also offer a variety of carefully crafted collections ranging from our bold peacock collection to our sleek and beautiful blush range. We also stock The Cultured Collection which offers various cultured or “lab grown” diamonds which are 99.9% exactly the same as an actual diamond but at a fraction of the cost.
What is bespoke jewelry?
Bespoke jewelry is when a piece is custom designed and made specifically for a client. This piece will be one of a kind. See our “Custom Design” page to create something unique and special.
What is the process involved in purchasing a bespoke piece?

How can I purchase one of your rings?
You can either purchase from one of our ready-to-wear collections online or you can visit our custom design page, fill out the short form and one of our senior designers will contact you directly to start designing your one-of-a-kind piece. If design isn’t your thing then our bold and sophisticated ready-to-wear collections will have what you are looking for.
Can you keep the ring a surprise?
Yes, of course! We can contact you discreetly on Whatsapp, Email, Google Meet or your preferred platform to make the necessary arrangements. You will be required to provide a secure delivery address and can thereafter track your purchase to ensure that you are present to sign upon delivery.
Can I see my ring before buying it?
- Online purchase: View our ready to wear collections on the website prior to checkout.
- Custom Design: Once the “Design your Ring” form has been filled out, one of our senior designers will contact you directly to start designing your one-of-a-kind piece. The designer will send you a CAD (Computer Aided Design) of the ring which will give you a very realistic view of what the final product will look like. Once you have approved the CAD, production will go ahead.
Can I add engravings to my jewelry?
Of course. All you have to do is inform your designer or consultant and provide the necessary information so that the engraving can be done.
Which metals do you recommend?
Shiny Rock Polished only makes jewelry in silver, gold, rose gold, white gold, platinum and palladium. We would generally recommend one of these metals depending on the piece as well as the budget.
Is your jewelry gold plated?
All of Shiny Rock Polished’s jewelry is made entirely of the customer’s chosen metal. We do not plate our jewelry unless specifically requested to do so.
How are rings packaged?
Each piece of jewelry is packaged in a unique Shiny Rock Polished box and packaging. For shipping purposes, the box will be securely housed in a second protective box.
How do I work out my ring size?

Can I have my ring resized?
Yes you can. Every ring purchased, whether ready to wear or bespoke gets one free ring resizing should it be necessary. Please click here to see the Shiny Rock Polished Ring Resizing policy.
How do I best care for and maintain the jewelry I purchase?
We have partner jewelers who would be able to service your Shiny Rock Polished pieces. We recommend cleaning and rhodium plating annually, taking your jewelry off if you are swimming, gardening, playing contact sports, cleaning, or moving heavy objects.

How Can I Cancel Or Change My Order?
When you have placed your order, a consultant will contact you to confirm your order, once confirmation has been made the order cannot be changed.
Do I need an account to place an order?
No account is required, however, you will need to add to cart and check out when paying. We will require your details to ensure the secure purchase and safe delivery of your desired piece(s).
What is the difference between a Lab-grown, “Cultured” Diamond and a Mined Diamond?
Lab Grown Diamonds are generally considered more environmentally friendly and socially conscious due to the fact that they are grown above the ground. These Lab Grown Diamonds actually have the exact same properties as a Mined Diamond. Essentially the only difference between a Lab Grown Diamond and a Mined Diamond is the origin of the stone. Where do your diamonds come from?
All our diamonds are ethically sourced from mines around the world from our carefully selected and respected suppliers. For more information on our ethical sourcing of diamonds and other gemstones please see our Ethical Sourcing Policy.
What are the “4C’s”?
A diamond’s 4 C’s represent the four main components of its beauty and structure: Cut, Color, Clarity and Carat. When looking at a diamond, the eye perceives a balance of its characteristics and components, including, but not limited to, the 4 C’s.
Do you supply the necessary certificates for the various diamonds?
Yes, all diamonds bigger than 0.30 carats come with the requisite certification.
How do I care for and maintain the pieces purchased from Shiny Rock Polished?
While diamonds and precious metals are not easily damaged, they do require frequent care and maintenance. We have several simple habits that will help avoid damage to your ring and some tips on how best to care for your jewelry.
Do you cover delivery fees?
Yes we do. All initial deliveries are free of charge.
What is the delivery process?
If the client requests that their piece of jewelry is to be delivered, Shiny Rock Polished will arrange secure, insured shipping to the client’s preferred address. The client will be required to sign for the package on delivery.
What shipping couriers do you use?
Our preferred courier services include but are not limited to, FedEx, UPS, DHL, RAM, Brinks and Malca Amit.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, we do.
How Long Will It Take To Get My Package?
Depending on your purchase, delivery can take place between 2 – 4 weeks (including manufacture).
How Do I Track My Order?
You will be notified as soon as your piece is ready to be delivered. Once we have confirmed the delivery address you will be given a waybill number with all the delivery details including your tracking number.
