GEMSTONE
Choosing the center stone for your perfect engagement ring is arguably the most important part of designing your ring. There are a number of factors that affect this decision. These include but are not limited too the following; the color of the diamond or gemstone, the everyday wearability of the stone and how hard or durable it is, the sentimentality or love of a particular gemstone, and lastly its size, quality and ultimately its price tag…
One of our senior designers will guide you through this process and clearly outline your various options, finding the option that is best suited for you and your partner. Our designers are ALL gemstone specialists, and their ability give advice and balance your needs and wants with your budget is invaluable.
SHAPE
There are so many different and beautiful shapes to choose from! Shapes are chosen for a number of reasons and align with recent trends, designs, individual tastes & personalities. There is the ever popular Round cut, which works extremely well with the classic solitaire and halo designs. The Heart shape, for the hopeless romantic, or the Marquise and Baguette for a more vintage and/or art deco design. The sky is the limit, and our skilled designers will explore your options and assist in ensuring that you choose the perfect shape for your design.
STYLE
Once you’ve decided on the center stone for your engagement ring and have some idea of the design and style you like, one of our senior designers will get to work on your design based on the measurements of your diamonds and/or gemstones. Using a Computer Aided Design (CAD) the designer will produce an exact representation of what your engagement ring will look like prior to manufacturing. Once you’re happy with the design, we sign it off and we start manufacturing your dream ring. Not only do you have your own personal advisor, but you will be speaking directly with the designer of your new ring. Every stage of our bespoke process ensures that the end product ends up being exactly what you envisioned, a unique piece which you would not be able to purchase in a store offering real and tangible value vs an alternatively mass produced product.
METAL
When choosing a metal you would have to select the right color preference, one which is complimentary to your skin tone as well as matching the overall aesthetic of the design. For example, Yellow and Rose Gold are generally chosen for more classic and traditional pieces as well as those going for more of a vintage appeal, where as White Gold tones are preferable for a more sleek and modern look, platinum could align well with this look too offering a more durable solution to everyday wear. Our experienced designers will be able to advise you on each of these possibilities for you to explore.
