We at Shiny Rock Polished are committed to following the comprehensive and well established measures such as the Kimberley Process, which tracks diamonds from mine to market. The Kimberly Process sets the guidelines for industry and a vast network of partnerships between the United Nations, governments, and non-governmental organizations that police the export of diamonds to prevent illegal or illicit trade.

We only source diamonds through our carefully selected and most respected suppliers who, like us, proudly adhere to and enforce the time-honored standards established by the Kimberley Process. We warrant that all our diamonds and gemstones are conflict free and are sourced in a sustainable and fair manner. We make a point to immediately end any relationships with suppliers and manufacturers who have been found to contravene international diamond policies such as the Kimberly Process. We will continue to support and promote any process that works to uphold legitimacy in the diamond trade.

About The Kimberley Process

Shiny Rock Polished supports the Kimberley process, which is an international process that seeks to track and certify diamonds. In April 2003, the US congress and President Bush passed a law adopting the Kimberley Process that requires all US diamond retailers to buy diamonds from manufacturers who have documentation warranting that the diamonds in question were obtained through internationally recognised and legitimate channels. Today, the US Customs Service actively enforces the Kimberley Process requirements as diamonds enter all American ports.
