Returns

  • Any item(s) returned, must be in its original condition and packaging.
  • The item(s) must not show any evidence of wear and tear and must have all original documentation, certification and proof of purchase.
  • No returns will be accepted after 30 days of delivery.
  • The cost of the return of the item(s) will be at your own expense.

Please ensure that these terms and conditions are thoroughly read and understood.

Unfortunately Shiny Rock Polished will not take responsibility for broken chains, as all chains are dispatched in perfect condition. Chains, by nature, are extremely delicate and need to be handled with great care. 

All Products Are Returnable, Except:

  • Special orders
  • Custom made pieces
  • Earrings – for hygiene reasons
  • Sale items

Refunds

Upon receipt of your item(s), our quality assurance team will inspect the item(s) and confirm if you qualify for a replacement or refund. If the return is approved, a refund will be initiated to your credit card or original form of payment.

Sales and Promotions

Sales and promotions will run for determined durations, during these times the following conditions apply:

  • Limited time sales/promotions can not be redeemed in conjunction with existing sales/promotions and will therefore override any pre existing sales/promotions.
  • Sales and price adjustments will only be available to the public on specified sale dates and shinyrockpolished.com reserves the right to terminate any promotion/sale offering at any given time.
  • Online discounts cannot be applied to any existing quotes or invoices including any custom orders. 

A purchase is defined as any partial or full payment of any product or service.

Discount Coupons

Please note that Discount Coupons/Codes will not work and are not redeemable when a piece has already been discounted and the value of the discount exceeds that of the coupon value.

Discount Coupons are not redeemable on custom designs.

Earth-Mined & Lab-Grown Diamonds are specifically EXCLUDED from all online discounts as they have already been offered at the best price possible. Additional discounts will only be relevant when specifically referring to either or both diamond categories.

Shipping ALL Diamonds From South Africa.

Due to South African shipping restrictions, all Earth-Mined or Lab Grown Diamonds will need to be set in jewellery prior to shipping. We are unable to ship “loose” stones across South African borders.

Liability

If the items that you received from Shiny Rock Polished are not what you ordered or are materially defective. We shall not be liable to you the customer unless you notify us of the problem in writing by email ([email protected]) within 30 days of delivery. One of our consultants will then walk you through the returns procedure which must also be followed exactly to ensure that you qualify for a refund.

Your consultant shall contact you to confirm the delivery date of your item(s). If, for whatever reason, your item(s) do not arrive on that day, you must contact us via email to advise us of the delay. We shall not be held liable unless you notify us by email of the problem. Shiny Rock Polished cannot be held responsible for any delays in the delivery once the items have left us and are in possession of the courier service.

Shiny Rock Polished will not be liable to you for any indirect or consequential loss or damage of items purchased from Shiny Rock Polished once the tags have been removed and the items have been worn.
